Hello Nelson, the fanlisting must be using an outdated version of Enthusiast. Email address verification has been rolled into the feature list for some time now. :)

I think the script doesn't check whether the e-mail input is in its right format. For instance, I accidentally updated my record in one of the fanlistings I joined (http://anime.just-peachy.com) - powered by Enthusiast - without putting my correct e-mail. It was merely a "username@" format, excluding the domain name. It so happens that I forgot my password. So, how will I recover my current password through e-mail when my "e-mail" is not actually an e-mail? O_o

@Kathryn: I'm glad the upgrade went well!

@Carolynne: Thanks! I also figure that would be so much easier than having to post everywhere (well, almost everywhere!) about the upgrades, hehe.

Glad to know you fixed it, Renee :) However, next time, you should head to the CodeGrrl forums instead, as I don't offer support in the form of comments or email. :)

I fixed it. Apparently, I had wanted to make a custom field (favorite_song) but instead of it showing up and working in my join form and showing up on the database page for my fanlisting in Enth, it didn't. So it kept trying to insert into that field but they weren't lined up right seeing as that field wasn't listed in the form.

It was my own bad :)
